A Child's Prayer

Alan got to say the prayer in primary (the children's Sunday School) today. We didn't get to hear it but we were told that he put a lot of thought into it.

"Heavenly Father,

Please help me to do better.
Please get me more toys for Christmas.
Please get me more stuff.
Please help me to get more toys.
Please help me get more treats."

I am told that it went on for quite a while.

At least he is putting thought into his prayers.

SOOOOO cute!! Doesn't that just make you want to squish him? I love little boys!

Jared met some lady at the park and said "hi, my name is Jared and my mom's name is Brenda. She puts me on timeouts!" (he left out the part that we had just gotten back from 3 days at Disneyland and all the treats he got and attention he got without the baby being there!) =)

Merry Christmas!

It is really too bad you guys missed it. We all had a good laugh! Maybe I should change the way I pray...more stuff, more treats, more toys...sounds good to me!

I guess he read the scripture about who gives the most perfect gifts!
