I have a friend who on Fathers/Mothers day writes a memory of her parents. I thought that was a fabulous idea so I'm stealing it.I don't know if having bad dreams are genetic but if so Alan has inherited it from me. Alan is frequently crawling into our bed at night after a bad dream. I did the exact same thing with my parents ALL the time. But I always crawled in on my Dad's side. My Dad didn't get frustrated at the frequency that I would be climbing in bed (or at least he didn't show it). I could always count on being able to fall asleep in his bed and when I was sound asleep he would carry me back to my own bed. Dealing with a lack of sleep from having kids in my bed makes me appreciate even more my Dad's patience. Happy Fathers Day Dad! Thanks for being the man you are.

So cute! Isn't it funny how much MORE you appreciate your parents when you are put through the same things?
What?! I remember, when you had bad dreams, you'd sit up and scream, "I want my mommy and daddy!" And you wouldn't stop until both were there. I even remember throwing my pillow at you to make you stop, but it didn't work and then I was out a pillow!
Yeah, that too.
Wow your boy's take after your side of the family huh?
What a great picture!
that really is such a great pic! Your dad is really styling, truly! & cute little you!
I just love this photo, so sweet! Nice memory too, I think my kids will have the same recollections toward Phil, he's the middle of the night one with them.
