Alan got to be in his first play this summer. Some friends of his wrote their own play and invited Alan to play a part in it. Truthfully every good play needs a villain and when it's all girls doing the play no one wants to be Captain Deadfly when they could be a butterfly fairy. Alan was happy to fill the role.
We also signed the kids up for swim lessons. The kids are making lots of improvement and as you can see Hyrum is no longer afraid of the diving board.
Last Saturday we went with my brother and his family to a WNBA game. The kids had a lot of fun. They caught on pretty quick to what was going on and loved cheering their team on once they figured out who they were rooting for (Mom are we voting for the white one's or the purple ones?).
It's been a fun summer and there is sure to be more fun to come!

I love that Alan's the only boy. I wonder why they thought to ask him to be the bad guy...How's moving going? Are you going to move before you go to Utah?
Unfortunately we haven't closed yet. We probably won't be moving until we get back. Uggh!
